J           8J4626H The 23rd Yuhara Rotemburo no Hi
(or Yuhara-town Outdoor Hot Spring Bath's Day)

A play on words:
First, in Japanese, "2 = ni," "2 things = futatsu," "6 = roku," "6 things = muttsu" and "· = ten."
So —
"June 26th" → "6·26" → "roku-ten-futatsu-roku" → "ro(ku)-ten-fu(tatsu)-ro(ku)" → "ro-ten-fu-ro" → "rotemburo."
The last letter "H" comes from "Hi" or "Day."
"4" is the call area number to which Yuhara-town belongs.

Special-event stations celebrate specific expositions, anniversaries and so on.
Moreover, ARISS school contact stations are guest-operated by non licensed elementary and junior high schoolers.
These operations have became quite popular, and many generate lots of activity. Both are eligible for a temporary 2×1-2×5 call sign with an 8J or 8N prefix.

Call signs and operating periods are subject to change. Furthermore, having possibilities to be cancelled. Information obtained from the web sites of JARL — HQ, district branches and prefectural branches —, local clubs, and so on.
