調べると，「Hell Gate Bridge」という橋らしいです．
Wards Island から Queens への間，East River に，北西から南東方向にむかって架かっています． まさに「Ｓ」字型（筆順どおり）に，Manhattan にアプローチする，その途中です． 最初，進行方向左手真横（←ちょっとおおげさ）にこの橋が見えます． 列車はぐるーっと左に廻り，「まさか」という感じでこの橋の上に乗ります． このあたりでは複々線になっています． |
